Americom
was founded in 1991 as an alternative to local exchange carriers in
Michigan. The company expanded to other mid-western states, and was
considered one of the first CLECs in the US at that time. The company's
customer base was sold in 1997, and it continues to be active in
telecommunications start-ups, financing of small telco growth, and
management consulting and restructuring in the telecommunications
sector.
Americom Telemanagement Inc. is an affiliate of the Amerivest Companies. Amerivest continues to help emerging businesses
throughout the US and Canada. We now have
representation in Canada, Michigan, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina,
and now Los Angeles.
